ABOUTI’ve been hooked on taking photos since 1973 when my youngest sister was born and I was 13. My new Kodak Instamatic (remember those?) caught her every move.
I took photo courses in college, took pictures as part of my newspaper reporter responsibilities in my 20s, and did occasional photo jobs throughout the years. I started really loving taking photos as a fun way of documenting life when my first daughter was born in 1990.
I started to more seriously pursue photography as a profession and passion a few years ago when I realized it’s what I love doing more than practically anything. You name it, I’ll get a kick out of snapping a picture of it.
My cameras: a Nikon D1X (digital) and occasionally, a Canon Rebel (film). My approach: to make your photo session fun, comfortable and relaxed. My hope: that you’ll treasure the photos I take for you forever.
I live with my husband and three daughters in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I prefer photographing outdoors in my beautiful town, but I’m willing to travel reasonable distances.
