I’ve been hooked on taking photos since 1973 when my youngest sister was born and I was 13. My new Kodak Instamatic (remember those?) caught her every move.
I took photo courses in college, took pictures as part of my newspaper reporter responsibilities in my 20s, and did occasional photo jobs through the years.
I started to love documenting life via photos when my first daughter was born in 1990.
Photography became a more serious pursuit as a profession and passion a few years later when I realized it’s what I love doing more than practically anything. You name it, I’ll get a kick out of snapping a picture of it.
